AARF is a great place to volunteer! Turn your love of animals into a passion for compassion by helping with daily operations, special projects, or coming out to befriend and help socialize a needy dog. You may just be the exact person a rescue dog needs to learn great social skills and find a loving home!

AARF is always in search of kind, friendly people with knowledge and experience in animal care and behavior, facility construction and maintenance, event planning, fundraising, grant writing, and any other skills you may have that can benefit the charitable mission of AARF. Even a once-a-week stroll with one of our lovable adoptable pets is a win all around!
